 Fun Ideas for Spreading Hope
It's sometimes tough for people to find the right words to say to someone who has experienced loss, let alone a complete stranger. Just remember, it's not so much about the card as it is the time and thoughts that were behind it. A simple "Thinking of you" can go a long way. Here are a few suggestions to make your card making experience fun and also spread the word to others. And remember, if you have any ideas of your own, please contact me and they will be posted as our 'Idea of the Week'.

Doctored up Pre-made cards- Sometimes when you can't think of the right things to say, pre-made card could say it for you. That is perfectly fine since it is the thought that counts. However, if you want to fancy it up a bit, here's a quick way to do so. Cut the pre-made card in half, so the front of the card and the inside of the card are seperated. The goal here is to glue the front on another piece of paper, like cardstock and the inside on the inside of the other paper. You can be as creative as you want by using scrap paper to add color, stickers, ribbons, stamps etc. Have fun with it.

Card signing-  If you're having a hard time getting others to make cards, I have found making one first is an easy way to get more people to participate. Bring it to your friends and family or local businesses.

Card Making Party-  Invite your friends over for some food, fun and card making.

Hope Blanket
This is a fun and easy craft to do with a group of children, church group or just with a group of friends and a glass of wine! You will need a plain white comforter/blanket or even receiving blankets, and fabric markers. Then decorate your Hope blanket with whatever inspiring, encouraging words or pictures you can think of. What a great way to spread hope, while sending over some of those small necessities that may have been destroyed. If you have any fun or creative ideas on how to spread Hope, please message me and I will feature it as an "Idea of the Week". Thank you all for your support, and God Bless!
